Scott's Words:

We're gathered here today today to recognize and celebrate the union of Shawn and Amity as man and wife. This union is made perfect through their love and committment to each other.

It's an honor to stand here to witness your exchange of vows. How could any of us had imagined that your chance meeting four years ago would bring us here? And yet despite your unlikely beginnings and the challenges you've faced, you've both followed your passions and have begun to build to a life together. These past four years I've watched you both grow individually and as a couple: sharing your common interests, facing adversity together, and always honoring the beauty and sanctity of the qualities of the individual you first fell in love with.

Shawn, I don't have to tell you what makes your partner so special. Amity is a loving and beautiful person. She's also one of the most loyal people I've known, and she'll always be there by your side. She'll also share with you the beauty and humor that she sees in the world. You have chosen a life partner with a propensity for finding adventure, so your life with her is destined to be a rich and exciting one.

Amity, I am so please that you found a person as wonderful as Shawn is. He's an amazingly intelligent and strong man. He's also someone who's demonstrated a loyalty that matches your own and he's always been there when you've needed him. A person with his unique combination of qualities can engage you and still offer a stability and grounding influence that will aid you in achieving your dreams.

Since you've both written your wedding vows, at this time I'll ask that you take the rings that you'll be exchanging and place them on each other's fingers as you recite your vows.

By the authority vested in me by your Will, and on behalf of your friends and family gathered here today, I pronounce you husband and wife.
