- We went to LowerMyBills.com to see about cheaper internet access for ouriMac and got referred to NetZero. We payed the fee and subscribed to the service, as we had already clicked through to specify that we had a Mac system. AFTER paying this fee, we downloaded the program to find it an exe file! We tried to get a refund through NetZero ("Sorry, but we have a no-refund policy.") and we tried to contact LowerMyBills.com to no avail. We had to contact the Better Business Bureau just to get any respone and a refund.

- We signed a one-year contract based on info from Verizon's people promising that we could transfer our service to New Zealand (COMPLETE f**king lie, they have no service to New Zealand at all), we would get mobile internet access for free (they charge a fee per-minute) and that the night minutes covered 7:00 pm to 7:00 am (actually an hour shorter in both directions and they tried to charge us HUGE F**KING long distance fees).
